I have been a photo tour guide since the late 70′s, and I love this aspect of my business because I

get to teach photography, something I’ve always enjoyed, in the most beautiful places in the world.

I can also interact with intelligent, engaged, accomplished, enthusiastic people who share the

same passion as I do. What could be better?

My philosophy in leading photo tours is simple.  The pictures are paramount.  That’s why I travel,

and the people who come with me know they will get the best pictures of the lives.  My trips are

not relaxing, however. We usually get up early and often stay out late, depending on the light.

We deal with heat, cold, dust, and sometimes long drives on bad roads, but it’s all for the purpose

of taking breathtaking photographs.
