An adorable lion cub

I photographed this lion cub in a tree along with three other siblings in Kenya. I wasn't able to hold focus on all of the cubs because I was using a Canon 500mm f/4 in which depth of field is very shallow especially when the lens-to-subject distance is close. Therefore, I concentrated on just one of the adorable faces and filled the frame with it. The camera settings were 1/125, f/4.0, and 320 ISO. The camera and lens were resting on a bean bag. The shutter speed should have been faster, but I took this shot in 2008 when noise was still a serious concern. The cubs weren't moving fast, and I trusted the stability of the bean bag to enable sharp pictures.
