Cheetah cub

Cats have the most beautiful faces, and kittens even more so. In Africa, everyone wants to photograph the cats. If you are lucky enough to come upon cheetah cubs, it's a thrilling experience. Their orange eyes, the way their face is defined by the pronounced lines that frame their nose and mouth, and the complete look of innocence all goes into making fabulous images. For this little guy who was probably 7 or 8 weeks old, I used a 500mm focal length and the settings were 1/640, f/8, and 800 ISO.
