I photographed the Church of St. Vincent in Heilengelbrut, Austria, today from my DJI Air 3S drone. It's beautifully situated with the Grossglockner, the highest peak in Austria, in the background. From a photographic point of view, buildings adjacent to the church detract from the beauty of the scene. So, I used generative fill in Photoshop to remove them completely. Now the scene is more to my liking, albeit a departure from reality. I take the position that art can reflect reality, or not. The same with photography. If I want to take a picture of a scene exactly as it is, I do that. If I want to create an image that is my own interpretation of that scene, I do that, too. The settings for this image were 1/5000, f/1.8, and 200 ISO, and I used a 24mm lens. The drone was 185 feet in altitude.

Linda Purdom - Oh that comment made me laugh. That was exactly what I was thinking. How DO they roof that building?

Jim - Beautiful photo. But the first thing I thought about was how in the world did they roof this building?
