Dogs in flight

This is my cocker spaniel, Teddy. I always thought if a cocker could run fast enough, and its ears flapped hard enough, the dog could get airborne. As you can see, Teddy can not only fly, but he can hover! For birds in flight, I typically use a shutter speed of 1/3200. For dogs in flight, 1/640 is sufficient to freeze those big ears. My other settings were f/4 and 1600 ISO., and I used a 70-200mm lens.
