Great grey owl in flight

There's something about great grey owls that I find very compelling They are so majestic and so powerful, and it's hard to turn your attention away from those piercing yellow eyes. It's thrilling to photograph them. I took this shot near Calgary, Alberta in Canada last winter using my standard settings for birds in flight: 1/3200, f/11, and 4000 ISO. With such large birds, I could slow the shutter down to 1/2000 and thereby lower the ISO, but I'd prefer the guarantee that even the wing tips are going to be sharp with the faster shutter.
