This is remarkable Dambulla Rock Cave in Sri Lanka. I used a 14mm wide angle lens to exaggerate the perspective for drama. It made the ceiling painting disproportionately large compared to the background. My Sigma 14mm f/1.8 lens is heavy due to the large amount of glass necessary to let so much light into the camera, and I only carry it for certain of my photo tours as a result. When I was younger, I carried everything just in case -- even a flash and a fisheye. Now I have to be more judicious about what I bring due to the weight on my back. It was fairly dark in this cave, hence the need for a large lens aperture. No. tripods were allowed, of course. My settings were f/1.8, 1/60, and 800 ISO.
