This is a 7-frame pano of the interior of the famous La Fenice Theater in Venice, Italy. You might think I got lucky and didn’t have to deal with other tourists in my frame, but that wasn’t the case at all. I had to use the generative fill feature in Photoshop to eliminate 21 people including a few in the foreground. The lighting in this theater is extremely warm, i.e. red/yellow, and tungsten white balance, it turned out, wasn’t the setting to use. I had to lower the Kelvin temperature in the custom setting to 2500, the lowest it would go, and that gave me the perfect coloration. My settings were 1/100, f/2.8, and 3200 ISO, and I used a 24-105mm Canon lens. This is a horseshoe-shaped theater, so the pano technique flattened the gallery of box seats. I took many shots of the interior to show what it looks like; this particular image is a departure from reality.
