In the Science Museum in London, there is a mathematics section. Hanging from the ceiling is a giant abstraction that represents the math involved in the flight of a butterfly. In fact, the exhibit is called 'Math butterfly'. I used a 24mm lens to take many compositions that included the colorful contours of the unique structure. No tripods are allowed in virtually all museums, of course, and that means the ISO has to be somewhat elevated in order for the shutter speed to be fast enough for sharp pictures. My settings were 1/125, f4.0, and 800 ISO. I experimented with various white balance settings, and in the end preferred 'daylight'.
