I was intrigued by this fountain. It is called Jet d'eau in Geneva, Switzerland. Its statistics are impressive. It pumps water to 460 feet (140 meters), and upon exiting the two 500 kw pumps the water is going 124 miles per hour. At twilight, lights illuminate the column of water beautifully, and when the sky is dramatic the contrast between the water and the brooding clouds is visually arresting. My settings were 1/25, f/4.0, and 2500 ISO. I didn't have a tripod, so I pressed the camera into the junction of a horizontal railing and a vertical support. Since the shutter speed was slow, I used the 2-second self-timer so I didn't introduce any movement in the camera upon pressing the shutter button. I used a 24-105mm lens set to 70mm.
