This is a mother polar bear and almost-adult cubs on the shore of Hudson Bay near Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. It was deeply overcast, which is great for outdoor portraits including shots of animals because contrast is at a minimum, but if you shoot all outdoor images on daylight white balance as I do, images in cloudy conditions turn out bluish. So, for this image, I used Image > adjustments > hue/saturation in Photoshop to desaturate the just the blue color. That worked. I used a 500mm focal length for this shot plus a 1.4x teleconverter, giving me 700m of focal length. The settings were 1/000, f/10, and 2500 ISO.
