The shot that has eluded me in Africa for a long time is a lineup of lions or zebras at a water hole. I've seen other photographers' images like this, but in many trips to East and South Africa, I've never seen it. I was happy, though, with this lineup of rhinos. There are only 3 animals, but they were browsing in just the right arrangement to look good. They were quite close to the safari vehicle, so I was able to use a 50mm focal length with f/16 for maximum depth of field. In the diffused light of a cloud cover, that pushed the ISO up to 3200. Rhinos are very docile . . . until they're not. A couple of Land Rovers that belonged to the lodge I was stying in had a few holes in their metal sides from angry rhinos expressing themselves. I shot this in the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya.
