This door is well known among photographers who travel to Venice. It was recently painted, though -- at least since the last time I was here -- and the new color is bright turquoise. In my opinion the door lost its medieval charm. So, in Photoshop, I used the Image > Adjustments > hue saturation dialog box to change the color back to what I remember. This may not be the exact original shade of green, but I like it a lot better and it matches the beautiful costumes of the two models. I used a 24-105mm zoom for the shot, and the settings were 1/160, f/5.0, and 4000 ISO.
