A vertical pano

This is a vertical panorama of the chapel in the Episcopal Palace by Gaudi in Astorga, Spain. It's the same room from yesterday's post. To do a vertical pano, the camera is held horizontally and each frame should overlap about 50%. When the camera gets to the ceiling, since most people can't bend backwards too far, simply turn around 180 degrees and continue shooting until the last frame is captured. Then, in ACR (or Lightroom), use the command Tools > Photoshop > Merge to HDR Pro. Obviously this isn't what I saw, but it's a unique and, too me, a visually compelling interpretation of remarkable architecture.
