Here is another very graphic image with beautiful contrasting colors in the dunes of Lencois Maranhenses National Park, Brazil. I took this with a 200mm focal length on my Canon 100-500mm telephoto, and the settings were 1/1000, f/7.1, and 800mm ISO. By September, most of this water is gone because the rainy season is usually finished by June. It's the contrast between the aquamarine-colored water and the white sand that drew me here in the first place.
