This image is part of my dinosaur series. These are marine dinosaurs (Plesiosaurus) that went extinct about 66 million years ago. I bought a model and then photographed it on the floor of my office using natural window light. I made a precise selection of it in Photoshop, and then I pasted it into a photograph of sea coral from a cliff in New Zealand. Next, I repeated that step giving me two animals. To make them look like two separate individuals, I used the command Edit > puppet warp in Photoshop to change the shape of the neck of the dinosaur on the right. To make the flippers and most of the two bodies look submerged, I cloned the ocean water over those portions of the models at 50% opacity.
