This is the spectacular Torres del Paine range of mountains in Chilean Patagonia. Lake Pehoe usually isn't this calm, but the windless condition allowed me to capture a mirror reflection in low angled sunlight. If you're lucky, sometimes an Andean condor can be spotted soaring high on a thermal. I used a 100mm focal length on a 70-200mm lens, and the settings were 1/100, f/9, and 200 ISO. Notice I placed the horizon line in the middle of the frame. I could have used the Rule of Thirds and placed the horizon on the upper or lower horizontal third, but I feel when you compose a mirror reflection with the central placement of the horizon, this underscores the perfect symmetry.
