I discovered 'The Wave' quite by accident in the late 80's or early 90's when I was hiking in the area. I didn't even know it had a name -- maybe it was named after it became so popular. I've been there twice, once after a downpour during the monsoon season. I took this picture with a Mamiya 7, a medium format range finder film camera, along with a 43mm wide angle lens. This lens is equivalent to a 20mm lens in the full frame digital format. The settings were unrecorded, but they were probably 1/15, f/32, and 50 ISO because I used Fujichrome Velvia. In those days I used a tripod for my shots.
