This cool reptile is a Cuban knight anole. Many reptiles can change their coloration depending on their environment and even their state of mind. Stress, for example, will cause chameleons and anoles to change the color of their skin temporarily. Within 10 minutes, this anole become a dark forest green color. I had loaned my camera and flash to one of the workshop participants, so I used my iPhone on wide angle mode to take this shot using the ambient light in the conference room. I cloned out the multiple lights in the eyes from overhead lighting. The amazing depth of field is characteristic iPhone cameras when using the wide angle lens. In post-processing, I replaced the original background with a shot from the Costa Rican jungle.
