I'm leading a photo tour now to Utah, and the Bentonite Hills was our first photo session. The colors and the contours of the landscapes are truly spectacular, especially from a drone. We arrived at our vantage point about 40 minutes before sunrise because the colors of the hills are most dramatic, and most accurate, in diffused light. Having said that, this shot was taken just as the first rays of sunlight illuminated the topography. My DJI Air 3S drone was 385 feet in altitude, and the settings were 1/350, f/1.8, and 100 ISO. The lens focal length was equivalent to a 24mm wide angle.

Linfa Purdom - An amazing perspective. But is that a castle in the middle background?
