My photo tour group in China had up close and personal encounters with unique snub-nosed monkeys, famous for their amazing blue faces. These are wild primates, but a free meal is a free meal. They are drawn to close proximity to humans who offer food, and the apples, bananas, and seeds we gave them allowed us take full frame portraits. In some cases, we could even used wide angle lenses. This shot, though, was taken with a 100-500mm telephoto zoom at 428mm because I wanted the background to be out of focus. The settings were 1/640, f/8, and 500 ISO.
