Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! To create this image, my wife dressed our two cats, Ming and Nopi, in Christmas outfits, along with our cocker spaniel, Teddy. When the pets are dressed in any type of clothing or costume for picture taking, they don't move at all. They allow my wife to do whatever she wants with them, no matter how silly it might be. They really don't know what to do, and that makes it easy to photograph them. We placed them on a sofa we have that is a replica of a European antique, and the background -- a room decorated for Christmas in Cheekwood Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee -- was composited after meticulously selecting the subjects.
