This is a famous stone church in New Zealand called Church of the Good Shepherd. The first time I was there in 1981, I was the only person to be seen for miles. It was in the middle of nowhere. Now it’s become an Instagram hotspot, and there are so many people they built a parking lot to accommodate the crowds. I photographed it at night with the intention of painting the building with light and including the Milky Way. I didn’t need a flashlight, though, because the cars in the parking lot inadvertently illuminated the church. The red color comes from the brake lights on a bus! I used a 14mm Sigma lens, and my settings were 15 seconds, f/1.8, and 2000 ISO
