This remarkable graphic pattern is the play of light from a bright, overcast sky on a river system in Iceland. Standing on the ground, you don't see this at all. From a drone, however, nature's artistry is revealed. I purposely maneuvered the drone to catch the reflection of the sky in the water and the wet sand. That created the strong contrast I find so appealing. I took the shot from an altitude of 400 feet with a 24mm lens, and the settings were 1/400 f/2.8, and 200 ISO. Using the software on the controller, you can change any of the camera's settings as well as switch focal length lenses while flying. My next photo tour to Iceland oriented to drone photography is August, 2006.
