The beauty of spirals

This is the interior of the Eckmuhl Lighthouse on the Coast of Brittany in France. You can never go wrong with taking pictures of spiral staircases. They are compelling to look at, inherently captivating, and the C-curves. and spirals make outstanding graphic design. I used a 16mm focal length for this shot, and the camera settings were 1/80, f/5.6, and 2000 ISO. The colors from the interplay of deep shadows (the blue) and the incandescent light fixture (yellow) are one of the most dramatic color combinations in photography. I added some vibrance in Adobe Camera Raw to enhance that.
