It really looks like I composited this 12th century castle in Thun, Switzerland, behind the uniquely designed architecture in the foreground, but I didn't. I was looking for an interesting juxtaposition of elements, and I found it. However, in order to get this shot so it was perfectly symmetrical and perfectly balanced I had to stand in the middle of a busy street. Not so easy and a little scary, but you know, I had to get the shot. I took this with a 70mm focal length on a 24-105mm zoom, and the settings were 1/800, f/5.6, and 320 ISO. The castle had some areas showing centuries of grime, so I used the clone tool to clean it up.

Jim - Thats a lot of depth of field for f5.6, especially with a mild telephoto 70mm lens. I assume it is also a full frame camera which further limits DOF. Is this one frame or several stacked?
