This is an Indian golden oriole I photographed in Ranthambhore National Park in India. Even though I used a 500mm focal length, the bird was relatively far from the camera and it was quite small in the frame. To create a better image, I cropped this from 128 megabytes down to 8.3 megs. I then used Topaz Gigapixel AI with a 4x magnification to increase the resolution to 126 megabytes. Finally, I applied Topaz DeNoise AI and Topaz Sharpen AI, in that order, to improve the quality of the picture. My camera settings were 1/3200, f/7.1, and 2500 ISO. The super-fast shutter speed is what I typically use to freeze the wings of birds in flight. The frame rate of 20 fps allowed me to capture every nuance of the wing positions.
