The focus on the tour I'm conducting now in India is tigers, but today we were lucky to find a leopard. I was situated on a road high above the small water hole from which the cat was drinking, and although I prefer low angled perspectives, I think this shot works even given the downward shooting angle. I used a 700mm focal length (a 500mm lens plus a 1.4x teleconverter), and the settings were 1/400, f/10, and 6400 ISO. I cropped the image and then applied Topaz Gigapixel, DeNoise, and Sharpen. The light level was low, hence the high ISO setting. I took this at 20 frames per second because I wanted to make sure I captured the leopard's tongue in the water.
