Peruvian portrait

I photographed this woman in the highlands of Peru. For me, it's usually children and the elderly who make the most compelling portraits. I shot this with film in the early 90's. I scanned the original 6x7cm transparency with an Imacon scanner to digitize it because originally, there were vertical grooves cut into the wooden structure against which this woman was resting. I used the clone tool in Photoshop to remove them since there were distracting. Bold graphic lines that are not part of the subject almost always detracts from the subject. The camera settings were unrecorded, but based on how I used to shoot, they were probably 1/125, f/4.5, and 100 ISO with Fujichrome Provia 100 transparency film. My lens was probably 250mm which is equivalent to a 135mm focal length in the full frame digital format.
