Polar bears sparing

Next month I'll be conducting another photo tour to photograph polar bears in and around Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. We shoot from ground level; the huge tundra buggies that so many people use are so high that you're forced to shoot down the bears. This is a terrible perspective.

The real prized shot for me is when the bears are standing up and sparing. It's dynamic animal behavior, and to see and capture two huge and powerful animals in a mock battle is pretty exciting. I took this shot with a 100-500mm telephoto plus a 1.4x teleconverter giving me 700mm of focal length. The settings were 1/800, f/10, and 5000 ISO. In post-processing, I applied Topaz DeNoise AI to mitigate the noise.
