There is a bridge in Ljubljana, Slovenia called the 'Dragon Bridge' because at all four corners of it are bronze statues of a dragon. When I was there, I wondered to myself if I could make one of the bronze dragons come to life. So, to make this image, I cloned the skin of an iguana (photographed in the wild in Costa Rica) onto the statue (I had two images open on my desktop in order to clone from one to the other), and then I cut and pasted the eye of the iguana in the appropriate place. The teeth were selected carefully from a photo of a Nile crocodile with its mouth open captured in Kenya, and then I pasted each tooth over the bronze teeth in the statue. Finally, I used fire from a fire-breathing performance -- after all, a dragon wouldn't be a dragon without the ability to project fire.
