Rapeseed, also known as canola, is in bloom this time of year in the U.K. The super saturated yellow color stands out dramatically in the countryside; it's hard to take your eyes off to it as you drive by. The narrow roads and lack of shoulders makes it difficult to stop for photography, but sometimes you get a lucky opening to safely pull off and shoot. For this shot, I used a 300mm focal length on my 100-500mm Canon zoom, and the settings were 1/500, f/14, and 800 ISO. (Note that when using a telephoto lens, the shutter speed should be the reciprocal of the focal length. I.e., a 300mm focal length requires a shutter of 1/300 or faster to insure sharp pictures when hand holding the camera.) The original sky was white, so I replaced with a sky that has significantly more visual impact.
